At 730 PM cst...630 PM mst...Doppler radar indicated a large area of precipitation across western and central North Dakota. Precipitation has already changed over to snow along...and west of North Dakota highways 31 and 41. A mixture of rain...sleet and snow continues across south central North Dakota including the Bismarck and Mandan areas. Primarily rain continues across the upper James River valley and the Turtle Mountains area. A change over to all snow is forecast across south central North Dakota between now and midnight cst. Snowfall intensities are forecast to increase into the night across western North Dakota. The middle and lower portions of the James River valley in North Dakota are currently seeing a break in precipitation...with areas of dense fog. However...as energy and moisture pivots around the surface low pressure system...additional precipitation will fill in during the overnight hours...falling as rain occasionally mixed with freezing rain.
